By entering Panama, Ecoener expands its Latin American presence adding to its existing operations in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Guatemala and Colombia.

In 2023, the growth was driven primarily by the Cumayasa 1 and 2 solar plants in the Dominican Republic totaling 96 MW and the 41 MW Sunnorte plant in Colombia. Ecoener is expanding its European footprint with projects in Greece and maintaining offices in Italy, Romania, and Poland, demonstrating its commitment to growth within the European market.

Ecoener's president, Luis de Valdivia, has confirmed that the company aims to have 1,000 MW of renewable energy capacity either in operation or under construction by 2025. In a recent statement, he emphasized that this is a "clear and non-negotiable" goal for the company.
