Masdar has partnered with TotalEnergies and Oman’s OQ to build a 500 MW solar plant with battery storage in Oman. This initiative underscores a significant step in Oman’s renewable energy journey, especially as financing has been secured for the 500 MW solar project.

The company also has a joint venture that has started construction on a 60MW solar plant in Sharjah, supporting the UAE’s Net-Zero 2050 strategy.
