SOLV Energy to Add 4 GW in 2024, Expands with New Projects

SOLV Energy is enhancing its capabilities and increasing its regional project teams throughout the U.S. to support the expanding pipeline in EPC, battery, high-voltage, SCADA and O&M markets. The company plans to deliver nearly 4 GW of capacity in 2024 — with another 3 GW of projects under construction across six states.

SOLV Energy Hits 20 GW Milestone, Targets 15+ GW by Year-End

At the RE+ event in California, SOLV Energy revealed that it has now exceeded 20 gigawatts (GW) of installed and awarded utility-scale solar and storage projects in the U.S. SOLV is also the third-largest global provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services and expects to have over 15 GW under contract and operation by the end of the year.

In 2024, SOLV Energy is set to deliver nearly 4 GW of capacity and has another 3 GW of projects under construction across six states. Notable recent opportunities include Oregon's largest proposed solar project at 1.6 GW, significant multi-project pipelines in Texas (1.2 GW) and the Midwest (990 MW) and the company's inaugural projects in Arkansas and Missouri.

SOLV is also expanding nationwide by hiring regional project teams to support coast-to-coast EPC services, as well as standalone BESS and high-voltage facilities.

SOLV Energy Expands Major EPC and O&M Portfolio

SOLV Energy has built one of the industry's largest EPC and O&M portfolios, attributing its success to long-lasting customer relationships developed over nearly 20 years in the renewable sector.

The company has provided EPC services for several notable projects, including: 1.3 GW of co-located solar-plus-storage projects in Riverside County, CA; the nation’s first solar-plus-storage peaker plant in Imperial County, CA (Vikings); the world’s largest solar plant at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway; the first tribally owned and operated utility solar plant on the Navajo Nation in AZ (Kayenta 2); Wyoming’s first utility solar plant (Sweetwater); and the largest solar facilities in Idaho, Alabama and Minnesota (Jackpot, Muscle Shoals and North Star, respectively).

Large-scale solar installation

OLV Energy's extensive EPC and O&M portfolio includes some of the industry's largest solar and solar-plus-storage projects, celebrating 20 years of successful partnerships and innovation.

"Not only did 2024 see us installing nearly two times more capacity than in 2023, but we also made significant strides to expand the regions we serve and the capabilities we can deliver to our customers. As we get together to celebrate 20 years of RE+, we also recognize countless decade-plus partnerships we've built. Thank you to the industry partners that have entrusted their projects to SOLV Energy — we're proud to have earned your business!" said George Hershman, CEO of SOLV Energy.
