Montenegro solar power: EPCG Solar Gradnja Constructs 40 MW Plant

Construction of Montenegro Solar Power Plant

EPCG Solar gradnja is constructing a ground-mounted solar power plant in Montenegro with a total capacity of approximately 40 MW at Kapino Polje near Nikšić. The project is being executed in phases, with work already underway on the L1, L2, and B1 plants, which collectively total 20 MW. The B2 plant, also with a capacity of 20 MW, is scheduled to begin construction soon.

As of now, the first three phases have completed their structural work and have seen the installation of the first 4 MW of solar panels. EPCG Solar gradnja aims to contribute to Montenegro’s energy portfolio through the development of this renewable energy facility.

This initiative aligns with broader efforts to enhance renewable energy capabilities in the region, as seen in other projects and commitments to sustainability.
