The Lebanese government has set aside approximately $20 million from its Treasury to support the program. The World Bank is expected to match this amount with a similar grant of about $20 million. Funding levels may be expanded in response to demand. The two parties will work together to design the distribution of the funds and the administration of the loans.

Before the program can be launched, parliamentary approval of the necessary appropriations is required. This development follows a meeting between Jaber and a World Bank delegation led by Enrique Armas, who is the director of the Beirut office. The discussions also covered broader topics, including regional energy interconnection and additional project financing.
