FTC Solar South Africa Lands Unique Lubanzi Inala Deal
U.S.-based solar technology provider FTC Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FTCI) has finalized a significant three-year supply agreement with Lubanzi Inala, a key South African solar procurement company. The deal, announced on February 23, 2026, marks a major milestone for FTC Solar’s expansion and a substantial boost to the region’s renewable energy capacity.
Under the terms of the agreement, FTC Solar will supply approximately 840 megawatts (MW) of its advanced solar tracker systems for a portfolio of projects across South Africa. Lubanzi Inala, which operates within the Green Axis Africa EPC consortium, selected FTC Solar to provide a versatile mix of its tracker technologies to meet diverse project needs.
Comprehensive Technology and Services Package
The supply agreement encompasses both FTC Solar’s 1P single-axis and 2P dual-axis tracker solutions. This combination of hardware provides flexibility and optimized performance for various terrains and solar farm designs. In addition to the physical tracker systems, the deal also includes the provision of essential software and engineering services, ensuring a comprehensive and integrated solution for the upcoming solar developments.
