A Bangladeshi solar manufacturer is reportedly in negotiations for a massive 300-megawatt (MW) export order slated for 2026, a move that signals growing international confidence in the nation’s high-tech manufacturing capabilities. The company at the center of this significant development is Radiant Alliance, an affiliate of the East Coast Group conglomerate. While details of the potential 300MW deal are still under negotiation, the sheer scale of the order underscores the international market’s increasing trust in “Made in Bangladesh” quality and production capacity. If finalized, this agreement would represent a monumental leap for the country’s solar export ambitions.
This potential deal is not happening in a vacuum. It builds on the momentum of a previously secured agreement that has already broken new ground for the industry.
Building on a Historic First Bangladeshi solar export
Radiant Alliance has already established its presence on the world stage. In a landmark achievement, the company dispatched its first-ever export shipment of solar PV modules to the United States, destined for the US-based company CleanGrid Incorporation.
That initial export agreement, valued at over Tk215 crore, commits Radiant Alliance to supply 64.60 MW of solar modules over four years, through 2028. This groundbreaking deal has already demonstrated that Bangladeshi manufacturers can meet the stringent quality and technical standards required by major international markets like the United States.
The Powerhouse Behind the Bangladeshi solar export Panels
The foundation for these export successes is a significant investment in advanced manufacturing. Radiant Alliance operates a fully automated facility in Ashulia, Savar, built with an investment of approximately $20 million (around Tk220 crore). This state-of-the-art plant boasts an annual production capacity of 600 MW, making it one of the most advanced solar manufacturing plants in Bangladesh.
The company produces a wide range of modules, from 50Wp to 700Wp, catering to diverse energy needs. Having initially focused on the domestic market, Radiant Alliance has successfully pivoted to meet the demands of international cleantech clients.

According to Masudur Rahim, CEO of Radiant Alliance, these achievements are a powerful testament to the fact that “Made in Bangladesh” can compete at the highest level in the global cleantech arena. The emergence of a capable manufacturer from Bangladesh introduces a new dynamic to the global supply chain.
