Sahaj Solar and Clarion Investment LLC have formed a joint venture to build a 750 MW solar module manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates.
The new company, Sahaj Energy Solar Panels Manufacturing LLC, will be owned in a 50:50 partnership between Clarion Investment and Sahaj Renewable Energy Trading FZCO, a subsidiary of Sahaj Solar. The joint venture was formally established on May 18, 2026.
### Factory Details and Market Strategy
While the factory will be located in the UAE, a specific site has not been announced. The facility is planned to supply solar modules to markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), including Saudi Arabia, as well as other international markets.
The project aims to strengthen the regional supply chain, reduce shipping lead times, and lower logistics risks, according to reports. This expansion adds local manufacturing capacity amid broader discussions about the strategic role of clean energy in mitigating regional fossil fuel risks. The factory is also part of Sahaj Solar’s plan to expand its global manufacturing footprint.
