Everlight Solar, Wisconsin’s largest home solar company, recently hosted its first Career Exploration field trip for local high school seniors at the Everlight Solar headquarters in Madison, WI. Students from three Madison-area high schools participated in a day of hands-on activities, exploring diverse careers in the solar industry.

Around 150 students from Madison East, Middleton, and Oregon High Schools participated in the event. The day began with welcome remarks from Everlight Solar’s Director of Electrical Operations, Sales Development Manager, and members of the recruitment team, who shared insights into the company’s mission and the growing importance of renewable energy.
Following the welcome, students rotated through interactive stations that showcased various career paths at Everlight Solar. In a sales games session, they honed communication skills through role-playing exercises, while construction relay races provided hands-on experience in solar panel installation, fostering teamwork and problem-solving.
