Real estate developer GID and Greenskies Clean Focus have completed a 130 kW rooftop solar system at Pavona Apartments in downtown San Jose, California.
Pavona Solar System Will Boost Resiliency and Cut Costs
The on-site solar installation at Pavona Apartments is designed to address California’s ongoing energy challenges, including power shortages and rising prices, by enhancing resiliency with reliable, low-cost, and clean renewable energy.
130-kW Solar System to Power 25 Homes Annually
The 130-kW rooftop solar system is projected to produce more than 180,000 kWh of clean energy each year, enough to power 25 homes. Greenskies developed and financed the project for GID at no initial cost through a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). As the long-term owner and operator, Greenskies will also handle ongoing maintenance to ensure the system remains sustainable and efficient for years to come.
