Grid Parity Introduces 5 Amazing Glass-Glass Module for Agrivoltaics

European photovoltaic manufacturer Grid Parity has officially launched a new semi-transparent, glass-glass solar module engineered specifically to advance agrivoltaic (agri-PV) applications. This development underscores the growing synergy between renewable energy generation and agriculture, enabling dual land use for both crop cultivation and power production.

Specialized Design for Dual Land Use

Produced at the company’s factory in Slovakia, the new bifacial modules are optimized to balance agricultural needs with energy output. Featuring a high transparency of approximately 45%, the panels allow significant sunlight penetration to reach crops below. Each module measures about 1 meter by 2 meters and delivers a peak output of 320W with an efficiency of around 16%.
