Greenzo Energy Wins ₹ 500 Cr EPC for 120 MW Solar Plant

Greenzo Energy, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in India, has secured a substantial Rs 500 crore order to build a 120 MW solar plant in Nepal. This project boosts the company’s current order book to Rs 1,900 crore.

Solar Plant to Boost Grid Stability and Energy Access

The solar plant will be developed in phases and is slated for completion by 2025. It will feature a fully ground-mounted infrastructure and an advanced high-tension transmission line connecting directly to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) grid. Any excess power generated by the plant will be fed into the national grid, enhancing stability and expanding energy access across the region.

“This EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) project is part of our commitment to strengthening clean energy infrastructure in South Asia and plays a key role in advancing Nepal’s renewable energy ambitions,” the company stated.

“With the Letter of Credit secured and work on site underway, we are fully committed to delivering each phase of the project with precision and transparency,” said Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India Ltd. “Through this project, we aim to empower innovation with our green energy solutions, support Nepal’s environmental goals, and place India on the world map as a leader in the renewable energy segment.”

Solar Project to Create 500 Jobs and Drive Regional Collaboration

The project is the result of a two-year collaboration between Greenzo, Nepalese authorities, and the project developer. Expected to create over 500 local jobs, the initiative will be overseen by Greenzo Energy’s Executive Director, Kushal Agarwal. The company will handle the project’s full execution, from engineering and procurement to on-site installation.

“This project is not only a business milestone but a shared vision for a greener South Asia,” said Kushal Agarwal, Executive Director of Greenzo. “Our long-standing collaboration with Nepalese stakeholders will allow us to provide lasting, community-driven benefits, further cementing Greenzo’s role as a global leader in clean energy.”

Greenzo Energy: Leading in Zero-Emission Renewable Solutions

Greenzo Energy develops, owns, and operates renewable and green hydrogen infrastructure to provide zero-emission energy solutions. The company has indigenously developed modular alkaline electrolyzers and maintains a diverse portfolio that includes solar, wind, ammonia, and hydrogen projects. To date, Greenzo has completed over 2 GW of solar EPC and consultancy projects across India and internationally.

This new solar project marks a significant milestone in Greenzo’s broader vision of creating a sustainable energy future that supports communities, economies, and ecosystems worldwide.
