Vilamoura solar project partnership with Solar PV and Nhood Portugal
The solar energy community was developed in partnership with Solar PV, a leader in renewable energy solutions, and Nhood Portugal, a real estate company specializing in sustainable development. Solar PV will finance, build, and operate the solar power plant, guaranteeing its long-term viability. As the energy community manager, Nhood Portugal will oversee energy distribution and consumption. Together, this collaboration aims to create a model for future solar energy projects across the country.
Rui Meneses Ferreira, CEO of Vilamoura World, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “We have been working for a long time to make this solar energy community possible. This is a decisive step towards creating a self-sufficient community, powered by sustainable energy,” he said.
