PV Hardware (PVH) has secured a deal with Global Power Generation (GPG) Australia to supply its solar trackers for the 260 MWp Glenellen and 100 MWp Bundaberg solar farms in New South Wales and Queensland.
PVH Partners with GPG Australia for Solar Trackers
Solar tracker manufacturer PVHardware (PVH) has announced a partnership with Global Power Generation Australia (GPG Australia) to supply trackers for the Glenellen and Bundaberg Solar Farms. The projects, to be constructed by main contractor Monford Group, will collectively generate 360 MW of electricity.

These two contracts mark a major milestone for PVHardware, expanding its portfolio and network of EPC partners in Australia. Since entering the Australian market in 2018, PVH has supplied trackers for 2.6 GW of solar projects, and this latest deal further strengthens its presence in the region.
As GPG Australia’s first solar farms in New South Wales and Queensland, these projects represent a collaborative effort to advance renewable energy and underscore the company’s commitment to its renewable goals in the country.
PVH Trackers to Power Two Major Solar Farms in Australia
Located in New South Wales, the Glenellen Solar Farm is set to be fully operational by Q4 2025 with a total capacity of 260 MW. With over 370,000 solar modules, the project will generate enough renewable energy to power more than 80,000 homes. Notably, it will also be GPG’s first Agrisolar farm globally, a design that utilizes specialized agricultural PV trackers to minimize the loss of land often associated with solar developments.
The Bundaberg Solar Farm will have an installed capacity of approximately 100 MW, with operations expected to begin in Q3 2025. Its 168,000-plus solar modules will generate around 200 GWh annually—enough to power about 36,000 homes—while preventing the emission of 170,000 tons of CO2 equivalent.
PVH will supply the Glenellen Solar Farm with 260 MW of its Monoline 2P trackers and the Bundaberg project with 100 MW of its Monoline 1P trackers, tailoring its technology to meet the specific requirements of each site.
PVH Boosts Local Economy with Solar Projects
Once commissioned, the two projects will benefit their local communities by creating jobs and increasing energy generation capacity by over 360 MW. PV Hardware’s global manufacturing strategy, with facilities across three continents, enables the company to customize technology for the unique needs of solar projects like Glenellen and Bundaberg.
“I am delighted to make this my first announcement with PVH. It certainly marks a significant milestone for our progress and independence within the Australian market. We are especially pleased to be working alongside GPG Australia and Monford Group to bring these projects to life,” said Trevor De Vries, PVH’s newly appointed VP of sales in Australia.
“My career has been spent in renewables and infrastructure, and I am excited to bring my experience to PVH and make a significant contribution to Australia’s energy transition. Both of these projects will have a positive impact on their local communities, creating jobs and boosting energy generation capacity. PV Hardware’s global manufacturing strategy, with facilities on three continents, allows us to customise our product features to meet the specific needs of any solar project.”
