Arevon Energy and Meta Platforms have signed a long-term Environmental Attributes Purchase Agreement for Arevon’s 60 MW Heirloom Solar Project in Pike County, Indiana.

Construction is underway on the 60 MW project, which Arevon will own and operate. The facility is set to be fully operational next year. Arevon’s initiatives in Pike County, including the Heirloom Solar Project and a neighboring solar facility, are projected to contribute over $86 million to local governments over their lifespans.

Heirloom Solar Project to Create Jobs in Pike County
The 60 MWac Heirloom Solar Project will create nearly 200 full-time equivalent jobs during its construction, with both the building phase and ongoing operations stimulating the local economy through increased spending at local businesses. Local landowners will receive consistent payments over the project’s lifespan, allowing them to diversify their income while continuing their farming activities in the area.
