The Straws Hadley Solar Farm marks the third major planning approval secured by Qair this year, following consent for the 49.95MW Lark Hill solar farm in Essex and the Washdyke Farm project in Lincolnshire. Qair’s progress in the UK was bolstered by its acquisition of Green Switch Capital earlier this year, a UK-based renewable energy developer specializing in solar PV, battery storage, and onshore wind technologies. Following the acquisition, Green Switch Capital was rebranded as Qair UK.
