Finland’s utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) project pipeline has surpassed 26 GW, reaching a total of 26.6 GW spread over 300 projects, according to data from Renewables Finland.

Currently, out of the total, 77 projects have received necessary building permits, totaling 4.67 GW. Meanwhile, 7 projects are under construction, accounting for 320 MW. The pipeline also consists of 196 projects in various stages of permitting or study, which contribute an additional 18.58 GW. Additionally, there are 20 projects at an earlier development stage that add up to 3.03 GW.
