Looking further ahead, Ghana’s 2023 energy transition plan outlines an even more transformative vision. It aims for 26 GW of solar capacity by 2040, rocketing to 146 GW by 2060, at which point solar would constitute a staggering 83% of the nation’s total energy generation.
