New Solar Installation of Photovoltaic Panels in Portugal
Approximately 50,000 photovoltaic panels have been installed in the city of Pias, Portugal, as part of the Muro photovoltaic plant project. The total investment for this initiative was reported at approximately €24 million, according to BNZ.
The Muro photovoltaic plant is expected to generate enough electricity to supply power to around 4,500 homes in the region. This installation is part of a broader push to increase solar energy capacity in Portugal, aligning with the country’s renewable energy goals.
