Solar plant Slovenia: HSE Secures Permit for 1.4 MW Project

New Solar Plant Slovenia Details

HSE has obtained a building permit for a new 1.4 MW solar power plant in Slovenia, with construction slated to begin next year. The project will be located at the closed Kamnolom Zagorje municipal waste disposal site in the Zasavje region.

Battery System Installation for Solar Plant Slovenia

In addition to the solar capacity, HSE plans to install a battery system rated at 1.25 MW with a storage capacity of 5 MWh. Part of the financing for the project will come from the European Union’s Just Transition Fund.

Related Solar Plant Slovenia Projects

This project is separate from HSE’s larger Prapretno 2 and Prapretno 3 solar projects, which have already entered trial operation. These facilities are expected to receive their operating permits in the first half of October.
