In a significant partnership, DAS Solar and Brazilian renewable energy developer TR Energia have completed two solar projects in the cities of ItaÃba and Agrestina, Pernambuco, with a combined capacity of 8.6 MW. These grid-connected projects utilize DAS Solar’s N-type 570 W modules, which feature advanced technologies such as 210mm cells, multi-busbar (MBB), and half-cut cell designs. The entire solar panel manufacturing process is optimized to produce modules with high conversion efficiency and strong performance in Brazil’s climate.
The DAS Solar modules boast a bifaciality of up to 85%, allowing them to generate additional energy by capturing sunlight reflected onto their rear side. This design, combined with the quality of the solar panel raw materials, ensures superior durability. The modules exhibit a lower rate of light-induced degradation (LID) and are resistant to potential-induced degradation (PID), guaranteeing high energy yields and reliability throughout the projects’ lifespan.
