By late 2025, an estimated 80% of all customers in Flanders, representing 2.95 million electricity meters, had been equipped with digital technology. The adoption rate among prosumers with solar panels is even more striking, with 89% (approximately 925,000 homes and businesses) having made the switch by September 2025.
