Uzbekistan Solar and Wind Energy Output Growth
Uzbekistan’s solar and wind generation rose 28% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025, reaching 5 billion kWh. The combined output from all renewable sources, including hydro, totaled 8.12 billion kWh.
This growth in renewable energy generation has helped conserve approximately 2.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas and avoid more than 4.6 million tonnes of emissions.
