PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) has signed an investment financing agreement worth 125 billion rupiah (about US$7 million) with PT Greenroof Energy Indonesia (GREI) to refinance operational rooftop solar power projects. The deal was signed on May 22 in Jakarta and is part of SMI’s push to support Indonesia’s energy transition and expand green financing for renewable energy projects, particularly in the commercial and industrial sectors.
