Impressive SoliTek solar module line Opens with 200 MW Capacity

Reinforcing Europe’s domestic solar manufacturing capabilities, Lithuanian solar technology firm SoliTek has successfully commissioned a fully upgraded, 200 MW automated solar module production line at its headquarters in Vilnius. The company, a pioneer in the Northern European solar sector since its founding in 2009, has completed a self-funded transition to a state-of-the-art, fully automated assembly process, which is now operating at full capacity.

Automation and Sustainable Production with Impressive SoliTek solar module line Opens with 200 MW Capacity

The strategic upgrade from a semi-automated system to a fully automated one represents a significant leap forward for SoliTek. This investment in advanced robotics and process control, which began commissioning last winter, is set to boost production efficiency and ensure the highest quality standards for its European-made modules. This commitment to technology is matched by a dedication to sustainability; the entire Vilnius facility operates on 100% renewable energy, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint for its products.

With the facility now housing four distinct production lines, SoliTek has substantially increased its operational flexibility and capacity to meet the growing demand for specialized solar solutions across the continent.

Pioneering Niche Markets with Specialized Modules

A key focus for the newly operational line is the production of innovative modules for niche applications, particularly the burgeoning agrivoltaics sector. SoliTek is manufacturing specialized 300 W Agro solar modules designed to enable the dual use of land for both agriculture and power generation. These durable glass-glass panels are engineered for resilience in demanding agricultural environments, capable of withstanding hail up to 50 mm in diameter.

The Agro modules feature efficiencies between 14.87% and 15.01%, optimized for greenhouse and open-field agrivoltaic installations. By targeting such specialized markets, SoliTek is carving out a strong position, offering high-value, locally-manufactured alternatives to mass-market imports and driving innovation in sustainable energy and agriculture.
