Impressive TDK Philippines Solar Project: 5.65 MW Upgrade

Aboitiz Upgrade Solar Inc. (AUSI), a joint venture between Aboitiz InfraCapital and Upgrade Energy Philippines, has partnered with TDK Philippines Corporation to install a powerful 5.65-megawatt-peak (MWp) rooftop solar system. The installation will span across two of TDK’s manufacturing facilities in Biรฑan, Laguna. Developed under a 15-year lease agreement, the project is expected to be operational by 2025 and generate approximately 8 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually.

A Landmark Project: The TDK Philippines Solar Project for Emissions Reduction and Clean Energy

This initiative is anticipated to reduce TDK’s annual carbon emissions by over 4,000 tons, marking a significant step towards its corporate sustainability goals. The project strongly aligns with the Aboitiz Groupโ€™s vision of advancing business and communities through innovative renewable energy solutions.

The solar rooftop project will feature over 9,000 high-efficiency solar modules.
