Lithuania Connects 40 MW Lithuania Solar Park
Lithuania’s transmission system operator Litgrid has connected a new 40 MW utility-scale solar park in the KaiÅ¡iadorys District to the national grid, marking a significant addition to the country’s renewable energy capacity.
Lithuania Solar Park Project Details
The project was developed by the Clean Energy Infrastructure Fund (CEIF), managed by Envolve Capital. It has an authorized export capacity of 40 MW and a total installed capacity of 50 MW, making it one of Lithuania’s larger operational solar assets. The installation is part of the Juknoniai Solar Park, which is currently in its commissioning phase and has already begun exporting electricity to the transmission network.
Lithuania Solar Park Construction and Status
The solar park’s transformer substation has been energized, allowing the facility to generate its first electricity. Following this connection, Lithuania’s total installed solar capacity has reached 3,557 MW.
