TDK Electronics is advancing its sustainability efforts by expanding its photovoltaic (PV) systems at the Šumperk facility in the Czech Republic. The site, which was the first TDK location to install a PV system back in 2013, has now added a new 1.4 MWp installation. This expansion brings the facility’s total self-generation capacity to approximately 1.9 GWh of solar energy annually, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,200 tons each year.
