In a landmark move for the domestic renewable energy sector, PVH USA announced in mid-February 2025 that it has successfully integrated 100% American-made materials into its U.S.-manufactured solar tracking and foundation systems. This achievement marks a significant step in fortifying the nation’s clean energy supply chain and accelerating the transition to sustainable power.
The transition to all-American sourcing applies to the company’s core product lines, including the PVH Terra™ foundation system, the AxoneDuo Infinity solar tracker, and the Monoline+ 2P tracker designed for large-format modules. This strategic shift ensures that these high-quality solar components now fully qualify for the 10% domestic content tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), enhancing the financial viability of U.S. solar projects.
By localizing its entire component sourcing, PVH USA is directly contributing to a more resilient national supply chain and creating American jobs. This commitment not only streamlines deployment timelines and improves quality control but also reduces reliance on foreign markets, bolstering the U.S. renewable energy market and its infrastructure.
Rodolfo Bitar, VP of Business Development at PVH USA, emphasized the company’s strategy. “Our expansion of U.S. manufacturing capabilities reflects PVH’s dual mission of driving solar innovation and supporting American industry,” he stated. “By producing 100% American-made solutions, we’re not only enhancing project efficiency and reducing costs but also playing a vital role in the nation’s transition to sustainable energy.”
With over 4.5 GW of its solar trackers already sold in the United States, PVH’s deepened commitment to domestic production aligns with national targets for a net-zero future. The company’s advanced engineering and superior material sourcing are making renewable energy more accessible and reliable, paving the way for an independent and sustainable energy grid.
